Delphi for Win32:
Rubicon Delphi Info Search

Posted 13 years ago on 5/29/2007
Take Away: Find Delphi info at the Rubicon Delphi and C++Builder search page.

KB100553

In the midst of a long coding session, you run into an issue you don't fully understand.  Google is great for finding answers quickly.  But, for Delphi-specific searches, there's something even better.

For years, now, the good folks at Tamarack Associates have been doing someting quite special. Tamarack, as you may know, makes the excellent Rubicon full-text search engine for use with databases. As a way to show off the power of Rubicon, they've trolled the Borland usenet groups, captured the posts, indexed them, and display them in a tree interface that makes it clear who posted what, and when, on a given topic. I cannot tell you how many times I've quickly found an answer I needed by doing a simple search at Tamarack. As a bonus, the posts frequently include superb working code examples. This is one site every Delphi developer should have bookmarked.

When Wes is not coding for clients, he participates in this online community. Prior to his 10-year love-affair with Delphi, he worked with several other tools and databases. Currently he specializes in VS.Net using C# and VB.Net. To Wes, the .NET revolution is as exciting as the birth of Delphi.
