PdxJDBC driver & how to get column names
Anyone know anything about a PdxJDBC driver beyond version 1.0? I am writing a Java app to connect to a Paradox database and pull ALL of the data out. I can connect to the DB with no problem, I can get the table names using the getTables() method in the DatabaseMetaData interface, but when I get to the getColumns() method I found out it is not supported in version 1.0 of the driver. Is there another way to get the column names (field names in Pardox-ese)? Is there a way to do it with straight SQL? Like SELECT all_column_names FROM table_name? Any ideas? Any news on a driver that would support the getColumns() method?, , Thanks, Chris

Table Structure
In Paradox 8, we used the view table structure/save as feature to create a table of the field names, types, sizes, etc. for manipulation outside of Paradox., , In Paradox 9 we have not found an automatic way to get that information into a table. Is there a way?, , ------------------
